Integrating Five Corporate Partners into the Hub71 Community

09 Aug, 2020

Our five corporate partners; Aldar, ADCB, Injazat, Mashreq Bank and Mastercard, have been engaging directly with our startups, with more than 60 one-on-one meetings over the past two months. More than half of the recent meetings have generated a follow-up to continue the conversation and look for opportunities for collaboration.

The feedback has been incredibly positive, with our corporate partners expressing admiration at the quality of the startups, the span of products and services that our startups are offering, and the program Hub71 has established to ensure corporate teams and startups are constantly interacting.

Hub71’s corporate partners have also become part of the onboarding session for new cohorts to better explain and demonstrate how startups can work with and learn from them.

On his recent meetings with Hub71 startups, Maan Al Awlaqi, Executive Director – Strategy and Transformation at Aldar, said: “Fulfilling Aldar’s long-term strategy requires continuous innovation within a wider ecosystem of thought-leaders, pioneers and entrepreneurs. Hub71 forms a crucial part of this ecosystem and Aldar’s partnership with the platform has been incredibly fruitful to date. From property technology to education, Hub71’s start-ups are diverse, dynamic and above all relevant to our company. With attractive incentives for seed-stage concept and a seamless process throughout the startup lifecycle, Hub71 is the perfect enabling environment for emerging technologies and we look forward to continuing this collaboration over the coming years.”
